About a year ago when we were living with Norm and Dana We bought this desk on KSL for $50.00. Jared wanted to take on the task of re-finishing it. I thought he was crazy since he was working 60 hr weeks and had no time. When we moved he put it in the garage as a reminder, so every time he pulled in he would see it and want to finish it. About a week ago I got sick of seeing the office undone. "Jared PLEASE finish the desk already"!! Well I'm happy to report; he did. I am a PROUD wife. This is the before pictures of the desk.
This is after he sanded it and stained it.
This is the finished product. He did such an amazing job. It looks so good. He has never done this before and I think he did fantastic. I am so proud of him. I'm glad I have a handy husband who is willing to take on task to save us money. This desk is mahogany and I love the natural red that comes through the stain. I love my new desk... love it!
I know you're wishing you had this desk... Don't be jealous!

I can't believe he's staining a desk in his WJ basketball STATE CHAMPS shirt!! That's got to be breaking some kind of rule or something. I still wear mine with pride bro. Big belly and all. But the desk looks really good :)
