Look Who's 3 Years Old

This was my first attempt at making a birthday cake. The inside is like the cupcakes with different colors inside. That part turned out great. The outside on the other hand, Umm not that great! I think I'll start buying the cakes from now on. I don't want my kids to be embarrassed by their birthday cake.

I invited 6 girls only 2 showed up. I think it was a little better this way. The girls had fun and I didn't have a big mess to clean at the end.

She was so happy that she got to eat 2 cupcakes.

Her first Barbie

All about cars!! Her friend Cambria gave her cars pj's and coloring book. Leila loved it. She still loves CARS!

Her first Laptop

Abuela gave her a barbie coloring table. She got up on her Birthday and this is want she wanted to do all day. Just color. She calls it her baby table.

Here are most of her gifts.

This was her favorite toy. Mommy and Daddy gave Leila a plasma car. She loves this car. Everytime she had seen one she would start riding it. It didn't matter that it was not hers, if you left it there she would take off on it. She has not stopped riding it since she got it. She rides around the whole house. She is really fast on it too.

 It was a fun weekend with friends and family. On the 7th (her actual birthday) she got lots of emails, blog & FB notes, and phone calls from friends & family - even a call from Grandma & Papa in Norway.
It was fun to see Leila's face when she saw the house set up for her birthday party. She has been wanting a party for a long time. When she saw everything she said "Where is everybody"? It was so cute. She loved that everyone sang happy birthday to her and that she got to blow out the candles. I can't wait to see her next year.

Leila Bug we love you so much. We can't believe how big you're getting. We are so happy to have you in our family. Thank you for all the fun, joy and love you bring to our lifes. Happy Birthday Bug!!!
