Happy Belated Birthday Milo

What you might not know about Milo:

Milo turned 4 years old on July 22nd. We adopted him on September 8, 2006. We had been trying to have a baby for almost 4 years. I wasn't much of a dog person but Jared grew up with dogs and loves them.

We were driving down 4800 w one day and saw a lady with a couple Shih Tzu's. We stopped to look at them for some reason. They were so cute and I wanted to take one home. When I asked the lady how much they were she told me $600! WHAT? but I told Jared I wanted one. Jared about dropped dead (I think I had made him the happiest man alive). Anyway Jared told me that we couldn't afford a dog then cause he had just started a new job. So for the rest of the week I told him "You hate dogs! Why wont you get one they were so cute?" Jared finally told me that if I could find a Shih Tzu for less then $400 we could get one. He was thinking there was NO WAY I could ever find a purebred for that price nor would I even look cause I didn't like dogs. But I went straight to KSL and found a lady selling them for $385. Long story short we got Milo a few days after.

I didn't know what Milo was about to do for me. We had been trying for so long to have a baby and Milo got me through it all. Milo became my baby. He helped me in so many ways. He was only 8 weeks old when we got him so it was like taking care of a baby. He had so much love to give. Milo has been the best $385 we've ever spent. He is so loved by all of us. Leila ADORES him so much. I don't know what she would do without him. She loves to play with him, sometimes a little too rough. Milo just takes it. Most of the times he plays along with her. He has even tried to protect Leila from another dog by standing in between them. He had felt she might be in danger and just looked at the dog like "there is no way you're getting near her." He has been such a good dog for our little family. We love him so much. Happy Birthday bud!
