So I'm trying to decide if I should pierce Leila's ears. I don't know if I should wait till she is 8 years old or if I should do them now. She would look so cute with them now, but is she too young? The place told me I could take her in when she turns 3 months old, which she'll be on May 7th. I don’t know what to do. Please help me deiced. Vote yes or no thanks.

Pierce them! I think babies with pierced ears are so cute..especially Leila! I'm going to pierce my baby girl's ears too even though Joe hates it!
well..the prohpet did say that we could have peirced ears, at what age? he didn't say. My mom got mine pierced when I was like 10 months old so that people could more easly make the distinction that i was a girl. I say do it, she wont remember a thing.
We had the debate in our home. I won the arguement an we are waiting until Addi is 8 years old. I didn't want one more thing I had to keep up on and I really don't think I could stomach it. Shots are hard enough to watch as a mom.
Here's what you do... you peirce them May 7th for these following reasons: 1-she's a baby and won't remember the tramatic moment an hour later 2-when you're 8 you know whats coming and it's way scarier 3-babies have no hair so earings make baby girls look sooo cute! 4-do you want her to be the non-trendy girl in kindergarten??
Pierce them! We did Isabella's and I love it, so does she. The pain wasn't that bad at all, shots were much worse. She literally forgot about it in about 1 minute. She is use to them so she doens't play with them or mess with them. Also, my mother pierced mine when I was a baby and I always loved it. It made me feel special and princess like...then she would always buy me earings for special occasion, especially my quiencinero (sp??). But, if you don't do it that is fine to. The point, is that whatever you decide for you is right for you. Finally, if you read this before tomorrow morning, I am going to call you in the morning and come visit if you can. Later.
All the pictures of Leila are so cute and she will look cute with or without earrings. My vote is no......I am waiting to pierce Milan's ears because I want it to be something special that we do together when she's older :)
K so when I was pregnant with Mia David was anament about piercing her ears. I wanted to wait because I asked my parents to pierce my ears when I was six and always thought it was cool that I got to make that decision and felt like such a big girl when I got them. Funny thing is that once Mia was born David did not want to pierce her ears anymore...go figure...Good luck on your decision.

Baby girls always look so cute with there ears pierced. When my boys were little they had so much hair everyone thought they were girls. It would have been nice to have a way to show that they were boys. Despite the blue, blue, blue we were still asked if he was a boy or girl. Her ears will already be healed by the time she gets older and it will be the norm for her. One last thing. Boys get circumcised and girls get their ears pierced.
