Feeling so blessed

I feel so blessed. As most of you know Leila was put in the New Born Intensive Care Unit for a day when she was born. Jared and I don't have insurance. Not because we are cheap and don't want to pay for it, but because they won't except us. I hate them. Anyways today I got a bill from the hospital for $500.00 and that's just for the Doctors that saw her in the NICU. That's not the NICU bill. I freaked out. I tried talking to the billing dept. I asked them if they could help us out because we have no ins and she said no. I finally talked to this lady in the hospital and she said that the bill had been taken care of. The hospital wrote off the $11,000 for the NICU stay. I couldn't believe it. I was so happy. Thanks to my wonderful OBGYN. He was so upset that the hospital had put her in the NICU when she didn't need to be there. He new that we had no ins. He told us that he would fight for us and try and take that bill away. What ever he did worked! he's great. I feel so blessed. I'm grateful that we don't have an $11,000 bill to deal with. But even if we did have to pay it, Leila is worth every dollar that we've spent, and will spent on her. She is the joy of our life, our little miracle baby. The Lord blessed us with her.
Jared was holding Leila and she grabbed Jared's finger with her two little hands it was the cutest thing ever.
