Osvaldo 1947 ~ 2008 Ovaldo, 60, returned to our Father in Heaven on April 26, 2008 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born December 23, 1947 in Argentina. He married his sweetheart on January 5, 1974. He graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in Microbiology. Go Cougars! He dedicated his life to serving the Lord and has blessed many lives in his journey. He is survived by his wife, Betty, children, Alex (Lisa), Nina (Brad), Yael (Brandon), Daiana (Jared), Zeke, Sollie and nine grandchildren who he loved and left joyful memories. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, May 1st, at the Oquirrh Point 5th Ward, 6253 W. 6200 S. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 30th, from 6-8 p.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers please donate to the Huntsman Cancer Foundation in memory of our husband and father to 500 Huntsman Way, Salt Lake City, UT 84108. Till we meet again. Te queremos mucho Papi!

I'm so sorry about your dad - its really hard times for you. Thank goodness for our knowledge that you will be with him again. I didn't know him, but judging from the amazing job he did with his daughter, I'm sure he was an awesome man. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this hard time.

Mike and I understand what you and your family are going through at this time and our thuoghts and prayers are with you. the only advice i have for you and your fam is to hold tight to the gosple and attend the temple when you can. the comfort you will feel in that holy place is beyond describable. may the lord bless you with comfort and understanding.

the blog world is a cool thing, you can find old friends and new ones. Thanks for writing on mine. I am sorry to hear about your father. All I know is that he is in a happy place. He is always with you, I feel my dad all the time. Your daughter is beautiful. My prayers are with you.
